BUILDING A LEGACY
We all want to be part of something bigger than ourselves. We want to live a life that has impact and effect beyond our immediacy and into the wider world. Whether building a team, church or family I think there are a few things we can do to build well and in a Godly way. Ultimately, as it says in Psalm 127, “Unless the Lord builds the house, the labourers labour in vain.” I want to be someone who builds with the long term, big picture in mind; someone who is thinking about what comes
after, not just what can we get now. To build a legacy we need to look at three keys: ‘I’ We need to give time to cultivate our relationship with God on a personal level. You cannot build what you do not have. You need the right materials to build and to build well. If you do not have the right tools or materials to build, you cannot build a lasting structure.
