Please help me understand Isaiah 26:3, which says, “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”
A. Where are your thoughts most of the time? Are they usually on your marriage, your relationship with others, or your image? Are your thoughts primarily on what people think about you, or do you try your best to always think about God? He’ll keep you in perfect peace when you keep your mind centred on Him.
There’s a saying, “All the world’s a stage and everyone’s a player.” When you walk across the stage of your mind, who is the audience you’re trying to make an impression on? Your thought should be that you have an audience of one, and that audience is God. Your focus should be to please Him in what you do, what you think, and what you say. In turn, He will bless you with peace of mind and heart.
