Dos años de Quepos Bodyboard Por: María Angélica Sancho: Comunicación y Mercadeo Con mucho orgullo, nos encontramos celebrando nuestro cumpleaños número dos. Este año estuvo lleno de retos y aventuras, finalmente logramos el sueño de ser una asociación deportiva. Estamos inscritos ante el Comité de Deportes y Recreación de Aguirre, abrimos la cuenta del banco para mayor respaldo y nos encontramos a un paso de formar parte de la Federación de Surf de Costa Rica. En el 2013, celebramos a más no poder la medalla de oro del ISA WORLD BODYBOARD CHAMPIONSHIP de nuestro rider Jefferson Bustos. Así como el reñido heat con Dave Hubbard en donde las milesimas hicieron la diferencia. En noviembre, Jefferson y Yazdanny nos representaron en los juegos centroamericanos de Panamá, trayendo el Campeón y SubCampeón a casa. También fue la I edición de la Corona Cocaleña y la 1era Clinica de Quepos Bodyboard. Durante el Circuito Bodyboard LimeCoral, estuvo siempre reñida la tabla con nuestros ranking. Limón, Playitas, Hermosa (gigante) y el Hoyo, sumaron puntos para coronar a los campeones, base de nuestra amada selección nacional. También el año tiene un balance positivo, riders más comprometidos con los estudios, el taller Para Un Futuro Mejor de Fundación Acción Joven nos encamino mucho. Estrenamos el Circuito de Bodyboard Quepeño en Playitas (07 de setiembre y 19 de octubre), AL CHILE (conciertos beneficios), Colecta 1 rojo por Quepos Bodyboard, Rifas Mundialistas y venta de patrocinios. Nuestros riders seleccionados son: Reymar, Mikaela, Richard y Alejandro. El ISA WORLD BODYBOARD CHAMPIONSHIP será del 6 al 14 de diciembre en Iquique. Con mucha ilusión, como cada año esperamos ansiosos poder ver a la selección completa en el Mundial, haciendo lo que mejor hacen, divertirse, volar en las olas. Dos años han pasado y queremos darles un gran abrazo a todas las personas que hacen posible que Quepos Bodyboard siga adelante. A los riders que son nuestra gasolina, los patrocinadores por su ayuda incondicional y a nuestra junta directiva, staff, padres de familia y amigos, que con sus ideas, trabajo y amor sacan la tarea.

Two years of Quepos Bodyboard By: María Angélica Sancho: Marketing With great pride, we are celebrating our birthday number two. This year was full of challenges and adventures, we finally dream of being a sports association.
