Accounls Receivoble System

An automatic accounts receivable system that provides monthly machine-prepared ready-for-mailing customer statements has been announced by Monroe Data hocessing.

The input medium for the system is a new Monroe Sweda sales register with a punched tape attachment. All transactions are recorded through the register. A complete record of each item in a transaction is automatically punched into paper tape, which is sent once a month to a Monroe Data Processing center for computer handling.

The owner of a store with 200 active charge accounts, each of which has five transactions a month, can obtain the statement preparation service for as Iittle as $50 a month.

The system also provides weekly reports of sales in as many as gg merchandise classifications at a priee of g5 per 1000 transactions.
