Norman Vincerrt anounced that he has retired from the service of J. H. Baxter & Co., San Francisco, in accordance with this company's retirement plan.

Ed Brush, sales manager, Loop Lumber Co., San Francisco, returned last week from a month's trip to New York and Florida.

Ted Combs, field engineer for the West Coast Lumbelmen's Asosciation, Los Angeles, who is a captain in the U.S. Army Engineers, has been called into active service for the next year.

Frank l{inard, general manager of C. S. Pierce Lumber Co., Fresno, was the host for the Fix-Tex sales plomotion meeting attended by more than 60 general contractors, architects, engineers, buildei's and Iumbermen, held in the Fresno Hotel.
