Mossive New Distribution Cenler Opens in Southlond

A NEW FIVE ACRE wood products dis- / r tribution r.enter has been opened by Weyerhaeuser Company in Anaheim, Calif., according to John Lipani, Los Angeles area manager for the firm.

The new center. situated on a seven-car rail spur, includes two new huildings for dry stock storage. a 32.000 sq. It. lumber shed and an office and plywood warehouse of almost equal size.

R. L. tBob) Buikin is manager of the new center. A native southern Californian. Bob has heen with Weyerhaeuser for the past l0 years. He will be assisted in sales and administration by Wayne Ingle, Jim Haynes and Dorothy Scott.

Area manager John Lipani, a veteran of more than a quarter-century with Weyerhaeuser, got his early lumber training in the Pacific Northwest before movine to southern California. He is a past president of the Los Angeles Hoo-Hoo club.

"Our new Anaheim branch was expanded to offer fast LCL service to retail dealers and industrial customers throuehout the area.'' Lipani commented. The new cenler will serve dealers in Orange, San Diego, Riverside. San Bernardino and Imperial Counties.
