Boyce P. Price has been elected president of Wood Marketing, Inc., it has been announced by Leonard K. Floan, chairmdn of the board of WMI and vice-president and general manager of Potlatch Forests, Inc. WMI is a new and independent cooperative marketing organization formed by companies in the lumber_ and wood products industries to broaden markets, promote proper use of products, cooperate with related industry organizations and conduct economic and marketing studies.
Price has been a vice-president and account supervisor at McC.ann-Erickson and The Marschalk Company, advertising

agencies within the Interpublic Group of companies. He has specialized in the marketing of building products and is a former editor of Architectural Forwn and House and Homc magazines.

John L. Robins has been elected president of the Redwood Inspection Service at their annual meeting in San Francisco. He has also been elected president of the C,alifornia Redwood Association. (See CLM, October, page 26.)

The vice president in charge of marketing for the Simpson Timber Company, Robins, 45, has served on the board of directors since Jtne, 1962, and was vice president during fiscal 1965. He succeeds Harry A. Merlo of Rockport Redwood Company, as president.
P. E. Nell of Sonoma Wood Products was elected vice president of RIS, succeeding Robins. The board of directors reelected Philip T. Farnsworth, secretarytreasurer.

Frank Morrisette has been made executive vice president of Dant Forest Products, Inc., with headquarters at the firm's new administrative offices at Menlo Park. California.
