A. J. Mqcmilliqn Retires

Long-time lumberman A. J. Macmillian, former chairman of the board at Consolidated Lumber Co., Wilmington, Calif., retired October l.

Macmillian, who started with Consolidated over 40 years ago as a salesman, serr,ed successively as gcneral manager, president and chairman of the board. During the past few years he served as a director and a member of the firm's executive committee.

His duties will be assumed by Consolidated's president, Ralph D. Russell.
