Weyerhqeuser Nqmed President

George H. Weyerhaeuser has been named president of Weyer' haeuser Co., succeeding Norton Clapp, who has moved up to chairman of the board.

Weyerhaeuser began his career with the company his great' grandfather founded, as a laborer in 1949'

Before his elevation to the top executive post he was vice president of operations. Weyerhaeuser, active in industry affairs, currently is serving as a director at large and a member of the association's trade extension fund committee. He also is a director of the Timber Engineering Co.

Reveille-This Month

A thought of the soon-to-be-held Oakland Hoo-Hoo Reveille, (May 20 to 'be exact) will bring back pleasant memories to the hundreds of lumbermen who attended the event last year. It would be hard to top last year's 33rd annual, but from all in' dications the boys working on o'Cape Castlewood" are going all out to really put this one in orbit.

General chairman oi the 34th Annual Reveille festival is Vic Roth o{ Triangle Lumber Company. Vic's able ground crew includes John Pearson and Bob Gerhart on finance; Ralph Meyer, publicity; Ralph Boshion, program; Jack Koepf, entertainment; and Bob Macfie, Jim Gillis and Dave Jopes, reception.

Other important committeemen include ticket chairman Al Mury of Evans Products; golf chairmen Jack Crane and Jon Skov; and overnight reservation chairman Milt Cook.

The golf scene will be on Castlewood's lower course, starting time 9:09 a.m. The Reveille evening will get underway at 6:09 p.m. on Castlewood's beautiful terrace which overlooks Livermore Valley. Dinner is slated fiot 7:39 p.m. sharp and the big "Cape Castlewood" show will beein at 9:09.

Yes, there will be the tiaditional Club 39 "after show!"
