McEwen Ransom, vice-president of E. L. Bruce & Co., Memphis, Tenn., was in Los Angeles visiting their West Coast representatives and calling on the trade.
William McCubbin of Wending-Nathan Company, San Francisco, was married to Miss Patricia Fourness in San Francisco last month.
Mason E. Kline has been appointed as general sales manager of Union Lumber Company's San Francisco branch. He succeeds Edward L. Green, who has been appointed general manager of the branch in Mendocino County.
Jim Kirby has been promoted from the shipping department to the order desk in the sales department of Hobbs Wall Lumber Co., San Francisco.
Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Yon Breton are the happy parents of a baby daughter, Sally Ann, born on April 11, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles. Mr. Von Breton is in charge of the Philippine Mahogany department for E. J. Stanton & Son.
