Redwood Firms Consolidate L A. Yards
p)ACIFIC-MADISON Lumber Co. and r California Pacific Sales Corp. have announced the consolidation of their Los Angeles distribution yards, in a move aimed at ooproviding more efficient service to southern California dealers on all items of old growth redwood,o' according to Gene Burnett, manager of Pacific-Madison.
Burnett explained that the re-alignment will enable Pacific-Madison to offer southern California dealers a complete redwood packagefrom bevel sidings to pre-cut fencing.

Manager Gene Burnett is also a Cal-Pacific veteran, having served as southern F California sales manager of the firm prior to his present association with PacificMadison. His background spans 20 years f of redwood experienoe.
"As you can see, the consolidation of P-M and Cal-Pacific's yards is actually a reunion of experienced redwood lumbermen with a common goalserving southern California dealers with quality old growth redwood," Burnett pointed out.
Rounding out the sales stafi at PacificMadison are Henry Myers and Stan Pion. Both have been with Pacific-Madison since the firm was founded. Born to the lumber business, Henry was formerly with South Bay Redwood Co., while Stan picked up much of his experience with Clay Brown Co. and E. K. Wood Lumber Co.
