Iliss llerg, a native of \{enomonie, Wiscorrsin, first joined the company as a secretary in August, 19il:1. She u'as placed in charge of accounting in 1945, and rvas ap- pointed acting treasurer by the boai'd of directors in 1961.

In 1963, Miss Berg was elected tt'easurel of the association, a position she filled until her ollicial retirement in 1965. She had been forced to give up her accounting wolk in L964 because of her illrress.

Wilma R. Thompson, long-time Los Angeles area lumbelgal, died April 13, of a celebral hemmolhage at an Alhambla hospital rvhere she had been confined.

At the time of her death, she was accounts leceivable bookkeeper: at D. C. Essley & Son, Montebello. She had held similar. jobs at Ii.J.NI. Co., and Hammoncl Lumber.

A native of Ellenburg, Wash., she attended tht' Llniversitv of Washington prior to moving to southern California, where she rvas activc in Hoo-Hoo-Ette activities.

A native of Macornb, Ill., Mr'. Butchel was a lifetime member of the I'ioneer Lumbermen's CIub of Califolnia antl also a membel of Buikling Matet'ial Dealers Cledit Associatior"r.

An active Mason, he was both a Past Master and Past Patron of Alhambra Masonic Lodge $322. He also was a member of the Alhambra Elks Lodge and of St. James Episcopal Church of South l'asadena.
