It can romp through SOO,OOO'of the finest quality dimension lumber you ever saw - in iust one day.

Just another lumber mill it's not.

Our new "baby" is a 218,000 square foot, automated lumber production and handling facility. The kind that churns-out top quality common and dimension lumber at the daily rate of 800,000' instead of the usual 75,000 to 100,000'. And producing dimension lumber is only part of its job.

Concept of the new facility is simple: Four manufacturing Iines in one-all under a single roof. Line One produces common and dimension. Line Two, shop, moulding and millwork. Lines Three and Four, factory lumber and re-manufactured items. All lines are serviced by centralized, dry and finished storage areas, high-speed wrapping and banding machines, four overhead cranes and covered loading and shipping facilities, Trimming, sorting, branding, grading-typical hand operations in many mills-are all handled automatically.

Combined with our already extensive lumber manufacturing operations this new addition helps establish Kimberly-Clark as one of the largest and most versatile sources for top quality lumber, millwork on the West Coast. ln fact, until someone proves otherwise, we believe we can process your order, produce it, package and ship it faster and more efficiently than anyone in the industry.

VERTISING is the short cut between producer and consumer. The printed word does the work of thousands of salesmen. Goods can never be sold unless there is a demand, and advertising creates that demand in the simplest and least expensive way. Advertising sells to the millions while salesmen sell to the thousands-and profits lie in the volume of business. Increased volume always decreases the cost of production. Advertising constantly works toward keeping prices down, just as it helps increase sales volume or turnover and reduce selling costpercentage.

But my mother said 'Never mind, Johnny, some day you'll get your wooden soldiers back.' And believe me, you woodenheaded bunch of morons, that day has come.t'
