Donald Loren Allison, s,ell known southern California lumberman for over 25 years, died September Il. He rl'as 62.

Mr. Allison orvned Allison Lumbel Co. and was sales agent for Commercial Lumber Co. Born in Keokuk, Iorva, in 1906, he died of a heart attack follou'ing an operation.

He is sur-vived by his rvidovr-, Mary, of West Covina, Calif.; brother, William; sister, Claire; son, Donald, Jr., and four grandSONS.

ARTHUR W. HAI{SOI{

Arthur W. Hanson, genelal manager, General Lumber and Supply Co., Belkeley, Calif., died July 29. He rvas 80.

With General Lumbei' for 21 years, lli'. Hanson was struck rvith a healt attack and rlied in the hospital. He is sur-r'ived by his widow, Nina, Rev. Grant Hanson, Dr'. IIerlill Hanson and five grandchiklren.

Il. R, "Bob" Williams, eastern zone sales manager, wood products, for Weyerhaeuser Co., died August ill, hours before he rvas scheduled to leave for Los Angeles, rvhere he planned to live fol health reasons. He was 48.

Death was caused by coronary occlusion.

Len Edelmann, Jr., office manager', Bay Lumber Co., Oakland, Calif., died August 7. He rvas 66.

NIr. .Edelmann was \\'ith Ray Lumber for' 20 years and died after a heart attack rvhile at home on vacation. He ll'as a member of Hoo-Hoo International.

Mr. Edelmann is surviveti bv his u'idou', trvo rlaughters, a sorl, several grand and great-grand children.

CARL ROBERT "BOB'' SITVERSTEIN

Carl Robert "llob" Silverstein died of a heart attack August 27 q'hile drtving a truck. Mr. Silverstein lvas a partner in Cur'i'y County Lumber Co., Brookings, Ore. He was 47.
