As an International Baccalaureate World School, BBIS is proud to be the only school in Budapest to offer two Authorised International Baccalaureate programmes: the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the IB Diploma (DP). BBIS is also a candidate school for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). When this programme is authorised, we’ll be the only Continuum school in Budapest!

From the very beginning of their journey, we are dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering curiosity. We strive to create a warm and caring environment where our four core values –Respect, Caring, Learning, and Kindness are not just words، but are reflected in daily actions and interactions.
As a proud candidate school for the IB PYP (Primary Years Programme), our active and thought-provoking learning style employs an inquirybased approach, granting students the agency to contribute to the topics they explore.
In our Primary classrooms, group discussions, hands-on activities, and shared projects facilitate authentic inquiry learning where students identify, investigate, and find solutions to real-life issues. Assessment practices involve students in goal setting and progress tracking, fostering a sense of ownership in their educational journey.

Playground
Purpose-Built Playground for Play and Connection
Play is fundamental to children’s development, enhancing social skills, resilience, and creativity. Our purpose-built playground spaces offer a dedicated space for students to explore, challenge themselves, and connect with others in a safe yet stimulating environment.
Students enjoy a specialised playground with natural, wooden elements that encourage sensory and creative play, while our Nature Observation Deck fosters curiosity and environmental awareness. Our climbing structures and outdoor gym help build gross strength, coordination, and fitness through active play and physical growth.
