Boarders’ Responsibilities and Duties

The Boarding House is run by the Houseparent and the House Tutors but ample opportunity is given to you to have your say on the routine and rules within the House.

The Houseparent will appoint a House Captain who will be assisted by the Deputy House Captain each year. They will be responsible for liaising with the House staff regarding everyday boarding matters, act as House representatives and promote active participation in school and boarding house trips and excursions. In order to promote leadership skills and responsibilities amongst the boarders, you are expected to carry out minor duties to ensure the smooth running of the Boarding House (please see page 29).

There is always a member of staff to supervise and help you when you are doing your duties.
