COMING AND GOING DURING THE WEEK

It is the responsibility of the Houseparent to know the whereabouts of the boarders in his/her charge and it is essential that you adopt a sensible approach to informing staff of your whereabouts.

Permission to leave the House during the week to go anywhere other than school, should be given by the Houseparent or House Tutors. Once permission has been granted you must sign out in the appropriate book giving your destination. You must also use the sign in/out boards appropriately.

If there is a school function, such as a house meal, prior letters acknowledging the specifications of the event need to be signed beforehand and added into the diary. Please note that boarding staff cannot give consent for any alcoholic beverages at house meals to be consumed. This needs to come from your parents or guardians. If there are any other social occasions where you want to go out then permission must be sought from the Houseparent.
