Fristi combines the delicious, fruity flavour of strawberries, raspberries and cherries. And it’s not only flavourful and fun, it also contains calcium! Fristi is loved by everyone!

We talk to Mandy at Brownies&downieS. She is 23 years old and has been a regular behind the bar at the Almelo branch since it opened.

Although she doesn’t like coffee herself, Mandy really enjoys preparing all the different coffee types. ‘I love exploring new flavours and latte art,’ she says enthusiastically. She enjoys creating little figures in the coffee – a skill she’s learnt by watching numerous videos and spending hours behind the bar. She most enjoys making latte macchiato, and puts a great deal of passion and love into creating these drinks for guests.

Mandy is very proud of her barista diploma, which she achieved after a great deal of practice and perseverance. ‘Working with oat milk is still sometimes a challenge, but that just motivates me even more to improve every day,’ she says. She really comes into her own during the busiest moments when she’s making plenty of coffees. If all her guests have enjoyed themselves and gone away satisfied, then Mandy goes home satisfied too.
