De media staan de laatste tijd bol van verhalen over verongelUkte burgers. Ze zijn boos omdat de Haagse elite geen oor heeft voor wat hen dwarszit. Alom klinkt de oproep met de 'gewone' man in gesprek te gaan, en dat 'luisteren naar' te vertalen in concrete beleidsdaden die het gevoel van welbevinden van de zwijgende meerderheid op acceptabel niveau kan tillen. Op landelijke schaal een zo goed als onmogelijke klus.

Op wijkniveau lijkt het een veel realistischer doelstelling. Dat althans maak ik op uit het gesprek met Otto Trienekens van de Veldacademie verderop in dit blad. Deze Rotterdamse architect/ondernemer wordt gedreven door de innerlijke ambitie gezonde steden te maken. Waar het hem om gaat, is hoe we met z'n allen de stedelijke leefomgeving zo kunnen inrichten dat er aantrekkelijke leefmilieus ontstaan die in ruimtelijk en sociaalopzicht matchen. Daarbij verdeelt en heerst hij niet vanaf zUn ivoren toren. De Veldacademie stuurt mensen de wijk in om te luisteren. En dan niet voor de vorm, maar net zo lang tot duidelijk is wat er speelt in de wijk en in welke richting de wijkaanpak gezocht moet worden. Het is zijn overtuiging dat een wijk er economisch en exploitatietechnisch beter op wordt alsje ideeĂŤn van buurtbewoners meeneemt in de plannen.

Luisteren is ook verstandig als het om de woonvraag gaat. Dat zegt Jean Baptist Benraad van het Transformatieteam. Nu de economie aantrekt, stroopt de bouwsector zijn mouwen op om als een razende nieuwbouw te realiseren. Vanuit ondernemersperspectief beqrijpelijk, maar voldoet wĂĄt er gebouwd wordt wel aan de vraag? Benraad vindt van niet. Wat bouwend Nederland moet doen, is het woningprogramma aanpassen aan de vraag van deze tijd en ook dat lukt alleen door te luisteren. Ik wens u een in alle opzichten een nieuwsgierig, creatief en luisterrijk 2017.

Curata da Noah Khoshbin dello Studio Wilson e dalia diretlrice di Villa Panza Anna Bernardini, la nuova personale di Bob Wilson si muove tra gli spazi interni e quelli esterni della storica villa varesina (4.11.201615.10.2017). Nelle sale, 56 Video Portraits offrono ai visitatori una versione cinematica di alcuni momenti iconici della storia dell'arte edel teatro: dove il volto della cantante pop Lady Gaga, del ballerino Roberto Bolle, dell'atlore Robert Downey Jr. - tra gli altri - si fondono con i capolavori di Ingres e Rembrandt.

Nel parco, invece, una nuova installazione dell'artista americano è pensata come omaggio al collezionista Giuseppe Panza di Biumo ed entrerà a fare parte della collezione permanente di Villa Panza.

PORTRAITS IN MOVEMENT The Robert Wilson exhibition at Villa Panza in Varese, Lombardy (4.11.2016-15.10.2017) is co-curated

by Noah Khoshbin (of the Robert Wilson office) and Anna Bernardini (the director of Villa Panza).

Inside the historic home, 56 Video Portraits offer a cinematographic version of iconic moments in theatre and art history, where famous contemporary faces (including Lady Gaga, Roberto Bolle and Robert Downey Jr.) are layered onto ancient paintings by Ingres and Rembrandt. Outdoors in the gardens, as an homage to the late art-collector owner of the villa, Giuseppe Panza di Biumo, the American visual artist Wilson has created a new installation that will remain on site as part of the permanent collection. www.visitfai.itlvillapanza
