I believe this is a very well-timed quote for where UCX is today. Change is happening faster than ever and will continue to happen at a fast pace. In order to grow and thrive in this environment, we need to be adaptive. As we move into 2026, we have made many changes within Ray Mancini, Jr. CEO our organizational structure that has put us in a good position to be very adaptive so we can grow, especially over the next 3 years. This quote by Fred Emery is about moving from a reactive state (constantly adjusting to external shifts) to a proactive one, building inherent flexibility and systems (like adaptive leadership or a growth mindset). By doing so, we will inherently be equipped to handle future changes, rather than just scrambling to catch up. There will be plenty of opportunity for organizations to grow significantly in our industry if we take a proactive approach to adapting. We must build and develop within our culture: innovation, resiliency, continuously improving, positive mindset, flexibility, be open to new skills, challenges and most importantly, empower people to solve problems rather than waiting for top-down directives. In 2026, our leaders are working hard to guide us through the uncertainty, focusing on engaging and empowering our team to help UCX solve problems that are important to our customers. So, as a team, let’s work hard this upcoming year to be adaptive, instead of adapting to change. As always, we express our appreciation for your contributions and are committed to achieving a strong 2026. Thank you.

It’s hard to believe a full year has passed since we launched the UCX Insider. When our committee began planning that first issue back in early February 2025, we weren’t sure what to expect or whether we’d have the support needed to publish a newsletter every other month. The response we’ve received has far exceeded anything we imagined. We are truly grateful for the encouragement and participation from every UCX team member. Your ideas, photos, stories, and shout-outs have been the heart of this newsletter. Without your contributions, the UCX Insider simply wouldn’t be possible. It has been especially meaningful to see how the newsletter has brought our team closer together. Each issue highlights the way you recognize and celebrate one another, the pride you take in your work, and the accomplishments happening across the company and in your personal lives. UCX is made up of an extraordinary group of people, and we feel fortunate to help share your stories. As we head into the holiday season, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you for making this first year such a success.
