Tournament Format

The field will be divided into four flights, which will be arranged by the aggregate total of the team’s handicaps.

The tournament tee will be from the Burgundy tee markers. For those satisfying the Rule of 85, the Silver Tee option is available. If a player moves forward from the tournament tee, the team is ineligible for gross prizes.

All players will play their own ball throughout the tournament.

85% of Handicap will be used for the practice round and tournament rounds A maximum of 36 strokes will be allowed. Handicaps as of the Registration Closing Date, October 16, will be used for this event.

Practice Round

The team will count the two best ball net scores on each hole

The buy-in for the practice round event is $40 cash per team paid in the Golf Shop.

The cash payout will be based on the number of teams that buy-in. Please notify the Golf Shop if you do not wish to participate in the Practice Round event. Tee times will be available on the North course and can be reserved beginning October 16.

Round One

The team will count the best net score on the odd numbered holes The team will count the two best net scores on the even numbered holes

Round Two

The team will count the one best net score on Holes 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, the two best net scores on Holes 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, and the three best net scores on Holes 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18.

Tournament Format

The Overall Champion will be the team that returns the lowest net total for 36-holes.

If teams are tied for the Overall Champions, a Shootout will occur immediately following results for all teams tied. The Shootout will start on hole #9 of the North course and if needed, will continue to hole #10, then hole #18 until a winner is declared.

All ties will be broken by a match of scorecards for flight winners. The team with the lowest score for round two will be declared the flight winners. If the round two scores are the same, the match of scorecards will continue to the back nine of round two, and then the last 6, 3, 1 as necessary.

Prizes will be awarded for both the Gross & Net winners in each flight.

The scorecards will be marked with the individual handicaps as they have been previously certified by the Committee. All scorecards must be signed, attested, and turned into a staff representative immediately following your round.

The Berkeley Hall Professional Staff will be posting the scores, and so you should record your most likely score in the event that you do not finish a hole.

Teams are invited to compete in a Team Gross & Net Skins

Competition with an optional $20 per team per day buy-in.

Skins will be awarded at the completion of each round.
