After the competition is complete, we hope you feel that the 2022 Gentlemen's Member Guest at Belfair was one of the finest events you have ever had the opportunity to experience.
With a full field of competitors, we are confident that you will thoroughly enjoy the weekend. Playing a traditional round robin format, you and your partner will have the opportunity to compete against the five other teams in your flight in a 9 Hole Better Ball of Partners match. If you are fortunate to emerge as a Flight Winner, you and your partner will then be tested by competing against your fellow Flight Winners in our Championship Shoot-Out. Enclosed you will find a complete schedule of events, listing all of the weekend's festivities.

will be played in a Round Robin Team Match Play format consisting of five 9 hole matches played within the respective flight. Teams will compete against each other in a Net Better Ball of Partners format The team with the highest point total after the five matches will be deemed the flight winner.

be awarded for each nine-hole match as follows:
The maximum points allowed per match will be 7 points. Teams playing against drop outs or within incomplete flights will play the respective match against par. If a match(s) is rained out, all teams will receive 4 1/2 points Teams appearing late for a match will lose one hole for each hole missed. A hole is missed if a team's opponents have completed the play of a hole.
INFORMATION
are required to have an attested USGA Handicap Index All competitors will receive 90% of their respective course handicap Each match will play off the lowest player's handicap. If a player has more than one registered index, the lowest will be used. Partners with a handicap spread greater than 8 strokes will each receive a 10% reduction of their respective course handicap (*will note those who have been adjusted) Handicaps are determined by taking half of your 18 hole index and converting it to a 9 hole course handicap and allocating strokes as they fall on the scorecard. Handicap Indexes will be taken from the October 12th revision.

ITiesnthe event of a tie for the flight winner, the tie shall be broken by the head to head match against the tied team(s). If still tied, then how a team scored against the next best team will break the tie. If three or more teams tie for Flight Winner, a chip off will decide the winner.

will be available until 9:00AM on Thursday, November 3rd. You may select any team in the Member Guest Tournament. Winning Teams must win or finish runner up within the flight. Minimum wager of $10 and maximum wager of $100 on any team and must be in $10 increments.
TPrizesheOverall Champions as well as the Winners and Runners-Up in each flight will receive a prize. All prizes will be presented upon completion of play on Saturday.

This optional contest pays out amongst all gross “2’s” scored during the first 4 tournaments rounds. $80 cash entry per team for the 1st FOUR
Rules Committee
Upon completion of the final match, each flight winning team will participate in the Championship Shoot-Out. The Shoot-Out will be played on the West Course, on Holes #11, 12, 16, 17 & 18 with each team competing in a true alternate shot of partner's format. Each team will receive 50% of their teams combined course handicap. The Shoot Out will be contested from the Member Tees and strokes will be given as they fall on the scorecard.
After the play of hole #11, 7 teams will be eliminated, after the play of hole #12, 5 teams will be eliminated, after the play of hole #16, 3 teams will be eliminated, after the play of hole #17, 1 team will be eliminated from the Shoot Out field, with the final two teams playing #18 for the Overall Championship. If a tie exists after play of Holes #11, 12, 16 or 17, a sudden death victory chip off will be used to determine the team(s) that advances.
In the case of the Overall Championship, if a tie exists after play is completed on the 18th hole, the final two teams will continue to play hole #18 in a sudden death victory playoff using a net-aggregate of partners format to identify the Overall Champions.

The Shoot-Out will be contested under the Rules of the USGA and all putts must be holed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION – LIGHTNING AND DANGEROUS WEATHER CONDITIONS – ONE LONG SIREN BLAST = PLAY IS SUSPENDED IMMEDIATELY. THREE INTERMITTENT SIREN BLASTS = RESUME PLAY. SHELTERS ON EAST ARE LOCATED AT HOLE #4/HOLE #10, HOLE #13 AND THE CLUBHOUSE. SHELTERS ON WEST ARE LOCATED AT HOLE #5, HOLE #13 AND THE CLUBHOUSE. PLEASE REPAIR YOUR BALL MARKS AND FILL ALL DIVOTS WITH SAND.
PENALTY AREAS– YELLOW PENALTY AREAS ARE MARKED BY YELLOW STAKES AND/OR LINES. RED PENALTY AREAS ARE MARKED BY RED STAKES AND/OR LINES. WHEN BOTH STAKES AND LINES ARE PRESENT, THE LINES DEFINE THE MARGIN OF THE PENALTY AREA.

OUT OF BOUNDS – OUT OF BOUNDS IS DEFINED BY COURSE-SIDE EDGE OF WHITE STAKES AND/OR LINES, BOUNDARY FENCES, AND THE COURSE-SIDE EDGES OF ROADS BORDERING THE COURSE.
