LEGENDS NIGHT AUGUST 6TH VS. EDM Tonight, we take on the West Division Rival Edmonton Elks. Nathan Rourke and the Lions are flying high following last week’s comeback win in Saskatchewan, earning us a 5-1 record on the season. And this week, we get a big boost to this potent offence as Bryan Burnham makes his return after missing the last four games.

In addition, this evening is Legends Night at BC Place.

We have the honour of inducting two new members into our BC Lions Wall of Fame, all stars Paul McCallum and Jovan Olafioye. We also have special guests from past Dance Teams returning for a halftime performance you won’t want to miss!

STADIUM POLICIES NEW GUIDELINES FOR 2022 NO BAG POLICY BC Place has introduced a No Bag Policy for all guests attending events at the venue to make entry faster, safer and easier for everyone. This includes purses, handbags, fanny packs, shopping bags and backpacks. A complimentary bag check service will be provided by the Lions, and is available at Gates C and G.

Guests are encouraged not to bring bags to the stadium

•

Guests may enter with one clear plastic bag that is no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”

•

Guests may also carry one small clutch purse-bag no larger than 6.5” x 8.5”, with a handle or strap which will be searched.

•

Exceptions may be provided for diaper bags, and for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag

•

All bags are subject to search, including enhanced screening, if required

UPROAR DANCE TEAM & ALUMNAE TO RAISE THE ROOF ON LEGENDS NIGHT. Try not to leave once the game is about to kick off this Saturday because the Uproar Dance Team will bring an extra flare to the crowd while the Lions will ensure the Elks play another challenging game in Week 9. Over the past two weeks, the 2022 dance team has been prepping for Legends Night, in juncture with multiple dance team alumnae from the previous seasons.

Together, the 60-plus dance team members are set to hype everyone off their seats with their halftime performance...
