Welcome back, Lions fans! The 2025 season is rolling full steam ahead, and your BC Lions are coming in hot after a stunning overtime win against Hamilton last week. Quarterback Nathan Rourke is in peak form, while James Butler continues to power through the trenches and keep the chains moving. As we hit the turf at Save-On-Foods Field at BC Place, your Lions will be locked in for another hard-hitting battle. With every snap, tackle, and touchdown, the team is fueled by your roar, so let’s make some noise and show the Alouettes what home field advantage is all about.
Off the field, the action is just as electric. For the first time ever, the BC Lions are celebrating BC’s vibrant car culture with our Show & Shine Game! Before kickoff, head out to the Plaza of Nations for a showcase of stunning rides, from classic cruisers to modern muscle, plus a Hot Wheels style gate giveaways that will have the whole family revved up. Soak in the summer vibes, grab your game-day snacks, and get ready for a Saturday night full of football, fun, and unforgettable memories.

The 4-5 BC Lions begin the second half of their season with a little bounce in their step, as the 5-4 Montreal Alouettes pay a visit to SaveOn-Foods Field at BC Place on Saturday afternoon. And while Nathan Rourke and company may be back in the win column after last week’s rollercoaster affair in Hamilton, the challenge remains to put together a streak and make things even more complicated in this tight Western Division race.
The Lions also understand the importance of protecting their home turf against an opponent that is looking to get back on track and no doubt remembers how the last meeting came down to the wire before Sean Whyte kicked a winning field goal with no time remaining.

Teamwork drives success—on the field and on the job site.
Jubilation.
That’s the best way to describe the Lions’ 41-38 overtime win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats this past Thursday in Hamilton.
It also could have been sadness had a few plays gone the other way. Which lens you choose to examine the game dramatically impacts your opinion of said contest.
There’s an average of 150 snaps per CFL game. Most of the time in close contests, the game might be decided by five or so plays. When looking at ‘the game’, we usually make our judgment on those five or six plays.
