Good evening, Lions fans, and welcome to Save-On-Foods Field at BC Place! We’re at a critical point in the season, and tonight’s matchup is all about momentum. The playoff race is heating up, the stakes couldn’t be higher, and your BC Lions are ready to put on a show in front of a roaring home crowd.
Tonight is also our Orange Shirt Day game, a powerful celebration of Indigenous culture and resilience. The first 10,000 fans in the door will receive a limited-edition orange shirt designed by acclaimed artist Corrine Hunt, the concourse will feature a vibrant Indigenous marketplace, and halftime brings a can’t miss performance from Bitterly Divine. It’s shaping up to be an unforgettable night of football, culture, and community. Enjoy Lions fans!

Opportunity knocks for the 7-7 BC Lions, as they welcome in the 5-90 Toronto Argonauts for a critical Friday night clash. Along with the chance at their first three-game winning streak since July of 2024, a victory over the defending Grey Cup champions would only strengthen their grip on a playoff spot with only three games remaining once October hits. It’s also a chance to avenge the ugly 52-34 setback in Toronto at the end of August, a result that left a sour taste in the mouths of many Lion players and coaches. With more, present our weekly 5 Things To Know preview.

If you’re looking for praise and adulation in the game of football, you won’t find it as an offensive lineman.
The only time a lineman usually gets noticed is if he gets called for a holding penalty or the defender he’s trying to block sacks the quarterback.
Ask football fans who Nathan Rourke is and everyone will talk about the virtues of the BC Lions quarterback. The same holds true for the likes of receiver Keon Hatcher or running back James Butler.
Throw out the name of Michael Couture and most fans will be dumbfounded when trying to answer who the Lions’ starting centre is.
