70TH SEASON GAME

SEPTEMBER 13Th VS. TORONTO

Welcome back to Save-On-Foods Field at BC Place and as we battle the Toronto Argonauts. Tonight begins a big stretch to the playoffs as we play four of our five remaining games right here on home turf. Nathan Rourke and the Lions have their groove back after a pair of victories; last week in Montreal saw them churn out 472 net yards. It’s all about balance with William Stanback rumbling out of the backfield and no shortage of prime receivers.

Plus, tonight we celebrate 70 incredible years of BC Lions football. We are dedicating this evening to our rich history, and the incredible legends who have been a part of the squad throughout the years. We also pay homage to our great fans that have supported the team over these 7 decades. Be sure to stay in your seats at halftime as we induct the 2000 Grey Cup Champions onto our Wall of Fame, and cheer loudly as they take to the field once again.

LEGEND OF 2000 LIVES ON

As we embark on Legends Night and the induction of the 2000 Grey Cup champions to our Wall of Fame, go back in the archives and re-live the thoughts of some of the key players who spoke back on the 20th anniversary of that historic championship. The legend of the 2000 Grey Cup champion BC Lions lives on. It also serves as an excellent reminder: regular season success doesn’t mean a damn thing...

Sex trafficking is a complex issue - one that far too many Canadians ignore because they think it only happens to people they don’t know in other countries. Unfortunately, human trafficking touches every community in Canada and it can affect you or someone you love.
