Michael Reilly and company won the first matchup between these two teams 24-12 back on August 28th in the nation’s captial. In that contest, Reilly passed for 301 yards and a long touchdown in the rain to Jevon Cottoy that put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter.

Tonight we anticpate a game of exciting football, and prepare to honour all those who were stationed on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are pleased to welcome and celebrate over 2000 deserving individuals who helped to keep us all healthy and safe over the last 18 months.

Get ready to cheer on your Lions, and our local heroes!

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS We are taking precautions to keep our fans safe! Please view the requirements below, and be prepared to adhere to these rules when inside BC Place.

VACCINATIONS

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Beginning Sept 13, proof of one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will be required for entry into BC Place.

Details on proof of vaccination have been outlined by the Provincial Health Authority. If you are not yet vaccinated and would like to find out more visit: https://www2. gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/ vaccine/register

The BC Restart plan allows 50% of the capacity of seats sold, which amounts to 12,550 fans in BC Place. Social distancing will not be required, however, fans are encouraged to take their seats and not mingle on the concourse as the capacity of the concourse is more limited.

MASKS

SEAT SPACING

Masks are now mandatory for all people 12 and older. Masks, covering the nose and mouth, must be worn at all times except when you are eating or drinking in your assigned seat. This rule will apply regardless of whether the BC Place roof is open or closed. If you need a mask, they will be available in section 234.

Distanced pods are not required in stage 3 of BC’s restart plan, but with limited capacity, seats will be spread out to provide separation.

NEW STADIUM POLICIES We are so excited to be welcoming BC Lions fans back into BC Place! Please familiarize yourself with our new 2021 guidelines.

CLEAR BAG POLICY BC Place has introduced a Clear Bag Policy for all guests attending events at the venue to make entry faster, safer and easier for everyone. A bag check service will be available at Gates C and G. Bags may be checked here for the duration of your Lions games at a cost of $10 per bag.

Guests are encouraged not to bring bags to the stadium

•

Guests may enter with one clear plastic bag that is no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”

•

Guests may also carry one small clutch purse-bag no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”, with a handle or strap which will be searched.

•

Exceptions may be provided for diaper bags, and for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag

•

All bags are subject to search, including enhanced screening, if required
