Welcome to Touchdown Pacific presented by WestJet. It’s the Lions and Ottawa REDBLACKS in this historic CFL event in our capital city. Victoria-born Nathan Rourke leads the Lions into battle as the squad looks to get back to their winning ways in a very tight western division. The defence gets a boost with the return of last year’s sack leader Mathieu Betts. He will no doubt bring a jolt to this unit looking to bounce back.
Today is a home game like no other, as we bring BC Lions Football to beautiful Victoria and treat those traveling from near and far to an exciting day. Be sure to join in the fun at the BC Lions Backyard in Central Park, and enjoy the ocean breeze as we take in this action-packed matchup.
STADIUM POLICIES
NO BAG POLICY
BC Place has introduced a No Bag Policy for all guests attending events at the venue to make entry faster, safer and easier for everyone. This includes purses, handbags, fanny packs, shopping bags and backpacks. A complimentary bag check service will be provided by the Lions, and is available at Gates C and G.
• Guests are encouraged not to bring bags to the stadium
• Guests may enter with one clear plastic bag that is no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”
• Guests may also carry one small clutch purse-bag no larger than 6.5” x 8.5”, with a handle or strap which will be searched.
• Exceptions may be provided for diaper bags, and for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag
• All bags are subject to search, including enhanced screening, if required
