Nigel's Notes

Our dismal and disappointing start to Phase 2 of the JD Cymru Premier continued when our trip to Cardiff Met ended in another narrow defeat. For some reason our defensive capabilities have deserted us since Phase 1 was completed and we have to significantly improve on this front if we are to continue our impressive record this season against the Champions of last year TNS. We managed an infamous double over our visitors this evening before the split and undoubtedly Craig Harrison’s team will be focussing on revenge for these 2 significant set backs to their defence of the League title. Colin however will certainly not let them have an easy run at securing the 3 points. We ourselves are desperate for points in our attempt to move up the table to secure a more advantageous Play Off position and every point is crucial in the remaining 7 League fixtures. I must also take this opportunity to sincerely congratulate all at TNS for their superb achievement in qualifying for the Group stages of the UEFA Conference League. This has given Wales a major boost in our coefficient standings and will enable some extra funding to flow into Welsh football. A brilliant performance!! It promises to be another exciting and entertaining encounter for us all to enjoy this evening against this top team.

It remains equally tough going for us all off the field at Bala own. Finances are a huge concern especially after the FAW removed all Academy funding from us but left us with the costs to ensure we meet Licensing Criteria. It is very difficult to explain to everyone the problems and challenges which we face but please can I emphasise to you all that Bala Town FC are yet to see a single penny of the extraordinary announcement that the FAW were pumping £6 million pounds into the Cymru Premier. In reality Bala financial assistance from the FAW has gone into reverse and we are far worse off than we were 2 seasons ago!! Very difficult times at Maes Tegid!!

On the financial front I must once again sincerely thank our Club President Arwel Griffiths (Awi) for his most generous sponsorship of this evening’s match. Awi’s commitment, dedication and enthusiasm for our Club is second to none and we are hugely grateful for his superb and continuous support. Please can I also sincerely thank another stalwart of Sponsorship support, Robert Foulkes Jones (Foxy) who very generously again sponsored our last Home match against Caernarfon. Foxy is another who gives everything continuously to help our Club. We are seriously indebted to him for his generosity. Without the tremendous support of our Sponsors this Club would not be able to survive in the highest level of Welsh domestic football and I can only hope that they enjoy the hospitality wehave on offer and help bring home the 3 points tonight.

A very warm welcome as always to all attending the match this evening DIOLCH. NIGEL!

BALA TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB

Matchday Graphics Sponsorship - Throughout matchday’s we post a number of graphics across our social media platforms. The platforms we post to are - X (Twitter), Facebook and Instagram, which have a combined following of 30k+. Every matchday we post the following graphics to each of our social media pages: Starting XI, Half-Time, Full-Time and a Goal Graphic for each player who scores. As a marketing tool for your business or organisation, we would include your logo on each graphic for the whole league season (32 games) whilst also putting one promotional post up a month on all our social media platforms thanking you for your support, with a link to your website included.

Matchday Programme Cover Sponsor - At each home league game, the Club provide a Matchday Programme to all supporters including information regarding the game and any relevant stories surrounding the Club. In this package, we would offer your business/organisation’s logo to be printed across the top/bottom of every programme for our home league games (16 games) along with a full page piece on your business/ organisation inside the programme.

Website Sponsor - Our website brings in 40k+ site sessions every year, and with improvements to our website in the works, we expect this number to rise, especially should the Club succeed in its goal of qualifying for Europe and doing well in domestic competitions. Therefore, we would offer your business/organisation to have your logo showing on the header of our website, which would be visible on every page with a hyperlink to your website attached to the logo.

Matchday Sponsor – Caernarfon Town

The Club were delighted once again to have had Robert Foulkes Jones (FOXY) as our Match Sponsor in our last Home match v Caernarfon on Friday 31stJanuary. He was unable to attend in person but asked Club President Arwel Griffiths to present his Man of the Match award after the game. The photo of this presentation is attached – (unfortunately it was not a Bala Player).

Foxy is a lifelong supporter and has been generously sponsoring the Club for more years than most of us can remember. He is not only a supporter but actively volunteers for Stewarding responsibilities at all our matches at Maes Tegid. Without such superb support the Club would be unable to maintain the levels of success which we achieve on an annual basis and we are so grateful to Foxy for everything he does for our Club. Diolch eto Foxy!!
