Photography Group

The awa Photography group welcomes both new and returning Members

Highlights from Chinatown & Gallop Extension Walks The photography group had some wonderful photo walks before the circuit-breaker and we look forward to resuming our outings once it’s possible to do so. Back in February, members went to Chinatown with volunteer walk leader Christina Haist to capture the atmospheric Chinese New Year festivities and decorations at night. In March, they explored the new Gallop Extension at the Botanic Gardens with volunteer walk leader Karen Lucas. The gardens have recently opened and still need time to become established to be fully appreciated. Nevertheless, our group of photographers found plenty of pretty flowers, plants and insects that were beautiful to photograph. The Gallop Extension is not fully open yet; stage 2 will open in the second half of 2020.

Update: Due to the suspension of the MBS Light & Water Show, the Marina Bay Sunset Photo Walk scheduled for March 12 will take place at a later date.
