B CAMBRIDGE AWARDS The outstanding scholarship of kiwi students in the international Cambridge examinations last year was celebrated at a special awards ceremony on Wednesday 15 February at Eden Park. Three Avondale students received awards at this event following their exceptional results in CIE. Bronwen Lamb: Top in Country A2 Psychology; 1st in A2 History Husna Izzuan: Top in Country AS Psychology Nia Sky: 1st in A2 Business Their success is extremely impressive, says Roger Franklin-Smith, Senior Manager of CIE for New Zealand, Australia and Pacific Islands. "Last year more than one million students sat Cambridge examinations in over 10,000 schools." "Your exceptional results demonstrate your academic flair, subject expertise, and also reflect the hard work you invested last year."
