Asians Celebrate the Year that Was by Dr. Nini RB Bautista,

Nini quizzed the group on Christmas trivia from around the world, with her luscious fruit centerpieces, as prizes for the winners. The exchange gift game was enjoyed by all, a tweak on the 'elephant's tale" whereby the guests passed the exchange gifts around, to the left or right, as called for by the "tale" told by Dr. Nini. Finally the raffle prizes of two $50 gift cards donated by Asst Treasurer Yi Tao( won by Andrea and Linda)

plus other minor prizes rounded up the evening festivities. The group was able to leave before the traffic jams from the Belk College Bowl at the nearby Belk Stadium, won by the Cincinnati Bearcats over Duke University. The group enthusiastically looks forward to the Year of the Snake 2013 and wishes everybody a year of peace, joy and prosperity. โ–
