Recap of “My India” – teacher talks about the important days in India & national holidays. Independence day, republic day, Gandhi jayanthi etc. Children would know the date, month and the important days. Tulips – pg 214 Picture chart Flash cards Children understand that our country celebrates the above important dates and how important it is at schools. Teacher talks about the different days e.g.: teacher’s day, children’s day etc.

Activity on pg 214 to be completed.
