Semester. 1 Module No.: 01
Guidelines TWOsDAY TUESDAY – Every Tuesday shall be TWOsDAY; therefore, activities given in the Lesson Plan falling due on Tuesdays shall be conducted in pairs. Children shall perform ALL Activities in Academics in pairs on TUESDAYs. Friday – Enrichment Day - Parents are expected to enrich/enhance the learning in School from Monday to Friday – every week, through various activities at home and prepare and send the child to School on Friday for the enrichment activity. Gross Motor Activities for N1, N2, K1, K2 shall be conducted as part of Play A Way Program. N1, N2, K1, K2 Teachers shall conduct the 2nd period of Play A Way during the week. In the time table given, if there are two periods allotted for the same subject the teacher could utilize that period to complete the exercises or activities of that subject.

Welcome the children. Have them settled in the environment. As it is the first day of school, play some music or rhymes. To start with, talk to them about their holiday, places they visited and any other interesting experiences they had. Let the children have a recap of Alphabet and Numbers, shapes and colours etc. Have them sit in a circle. Teacher could introduce herself to the class. She could also introduce the new children to the class. From the first day of the school children should be taught to greet elders, teachers, and friends as they enter into their class. They should be instructed to keep their bags in one place and this should be followed every day. Snack bags/Lunch bags should be placed in another corner of the room.

Children would be sure of spellings for each number. Activity Book Flashcards Chart Pencil It is very important because it deals with the number and the corresponding number name with correct spellings. Teacher should say the number name and then say the number e.g.: one 1, two 2 etc.

Teacher can have one object on one side and many objects belonging to the same group on the other side. She could have one group near the table that has one object and the other group at the other table with many objects.
