nion Bank of Mena has hired Alyvia Self as a loan officer. Self, who previously worked as a mortgage lender, holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas. “We couldn't be more pleased that Alyvia has joined the Union Bank team. We know she will be a great addition for our customers because of her knowledge and lending experience, especially mortgage lending. Taking care of the banking needs of our hometown customers is what we do, and Alyvia is on board to help us continue that tradition,” said Union Bank of Mena President Kevin Williams. Union Bank of Mena was established in 1934 and has branches in Mena, Hatfield and Wickes.

ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS
T
he Arkansas State Bank Department has promoted Dustin Hill to Bank Junior Examiner effective October 30, 2022. The department has also promoted Peyton Tillman to Bank Senior Examiner, Adam Chase to Certified Bank Senior Examiner, and Wesley Mathis to Certified Bank Senior Examiner effective November 13, 2022. Hill earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and serves as a Bank Junior Examiner in the Little Rock office. Tillman earned a Bachelor of Finance at the Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and serves as a Bank Senior Examiner in the Jonesboro office.
Chase earned a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Administration and Management and a Master of Business Administration from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. He serves as a Certified Bank Senior Examiner in the department’s Springdale office. Mathis earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and serves as a Certified Bank Senior Examiner in the Little Rock office.
