Dear Hoban Family, Welcome to Hoban’s 37th annual Extravaganza, LIVE AT THE DISCO! It has been two years since we last held a traditional Extravaganza, and we are incredibly excited to welcome you to campus for this one-of-a-kind celebration. This evening will truly be a night to remember! Since 1953, Hoban has prepared students for the rigors of postsecondary education and the challenges of adulthood. Our mission as a Catholic, Holy Cross school is to educate the hearts and minds of students, so they develop the competence to see and the courage to act. Part of our mission as a Catholic school is to keep tuition affordable so that the Hoban experience remains accessible for all. We appreciate our families’ financial sacrifice to provide their children with a Hoban education. Still, tuition revenue alone does not cover the costs associated with educating more than 800 students. Extravaganza gives Hoban the “extra” leverage to provide our Knights with vital financial and material resources, sustains academic programming and daily operations and helps us keep tuition as low as possible. Your support is the advantage we need to give our students the life-changing gift of a Hoban education. The Ralph L. and Florence A. Bernard Foundation continues its tradition of providing a matching gift to help raise scholarship monies. This year’s challenge is to match $75,000! At the end of the night, we ask you to raise your paddle to help exceed the $150,000 goal for student scholarships and financial assistance.
