2.7.2 Analysis Format The data collected through the inventories and book sources were analyzed in two charts, urban context and architectural style, as shown in Table 2. The buildings are divided by type, community and age. Urban Context looked at: 1. The orientation and visibility to understand the relationship with its context 2. Built space to understand spatial organisation 3. Scale and Proportion to understand its shape and form All aspects are interrelated with each other and as a whole provided with an understanding of the importance of identity with respect to urban context. Architectural Style looked at: 1. Description and characteristics to understand general design principles 2. Prominent elements and similar buildings to understand the time and semantic organisation Data collected was analysed by two tabular charts as shown below.
