2.7 Analytical Framework

An analytical framework was devised based on the ideas of Zoreh Torabi and Sara Brahman, and Fletcher's approach to understand the architectural significance of the community in the respective areas. Fletcher in his book history of architecture (1987) described the styles by dividing the structures based on typology then subdivided by age and looked at location stylistic elements size/proportion and material of the structure.

The study was categorized into three parts urban context, architectural style and urban issues and analysing it as shown below in Figure 4:
