This year is already flying by - March already! The evenings are starting to draw out and the spring bulbs are showing their heads. Someone recently mentioned that they were looking forward to the bulbs coming out in Heron Way, Buckingham Parade and Gracemere Crescent. These are the result of the community bulb planting led by the Kempshott & District Residents Association several years back.
We are currently looking for volunteers to deliver the Kourier in Shipton Way & Abbot Close on the Berg, Goldfinch, Yellowhammer and Lapwing Close in Gabriel Park and also part of Redwing and Tern Close in Gabriel Park. If you can spare a little time each month, please give me a call on 01256 354282. Our retiring deliverers have done sterling work over many years and we would like to thank them for their regular efforts. The next quarterly Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinators meeting will be taking place at Kempshott Village Hall on Monday 3rd April at 7pm. All currently co-ordinators are invited to attend, as is anyone who is interested in finding out more about starting a scheme. Our April litterpick will take place on Sunday 9th April, meeting at 10am outside Old Down Hall (top of Kempshott Lane), weather permitting. Litterpickers and sacks provided.
