SOÑEMOS JUNTOS

WE DREAM TOGETHER

Seguramente usted escuchó o leyó alguna vez la frase de Oscar Wilde: “Ten cuidado con lo que deseas, se puede hacer realidad”, colocada en muchas historias de inspiración o talleres de inspiración, pero en este caso me permite presentarle nuestra nueva campaña de identidad en Amaszonas, destinada a motivar a todos a alcanzar o cumplir sus sueños. Estoy seguro que recuerda los sueños que tenía de niño, la profesión u oficio que quería tener, la forma en que imaginaba ayudar a sus amigos o familia y muchas historias que hoy recordarlas le tomaría mucho más que el tiempo de este vuelo. En este mes hemos lanzado nuestra campaña: Soñemos juntos que tendrá diferentes etapas y que tienen el objetivo de recordarle esos sueños y que no olvide cumplirlos, que vuelva a ellos y haga lo necesario para alcanzarlos. Quiero contarle ahora una historia que leí una vez en un libro: Todas las mañanas un niño se levantaba muy temprano y se dirigía a la playa donde encontraba muchas estrellas de mar que la marea había dejado en la playa. El niño las devolvía al mar antes que el sol las pueda matar. Lo hacía tan rápido como podía. Un día un pescador que también estaba allí desde temprano, se acercó al niño y le reclamo el por qué lo hacía, ya que habían tantas estrellas en esa playa y en otras del mundo que no podría salvar a todas y que muchas de ellas nuevamente volverían a morir a la playa con la siguiente marea. El niño siguió haciendo lo mismo y tras lanzar una nueva estrella de mar, le respondió: “esa estrella tiene una nueva oportunidad de vivir”. La historia la podemos resumir en que este niño tenía muy claro cómo alcanzar ese pequeño sueño, la importancia está en creer y actuar. Entonces lo que decía Oscar Wilde tiene mucha razón, es importante no olvidar lo que buscamos alcanzar, para que se haga realidad. Amaszonas hoy le invita a que recuerde sus sueños y que los cumpla. Puede comenzar alcanzando un sueño pequeño y luego avance dando pasos firmes hacia el logro de sueños más grandes. Verá que es grandioso ser un soñador, de sueños reales, de metas altas. No deje de preguntarse ¿Cómo llegar a esos destinos que uno se propone siempre, y cada vez que lo desee? Feliz viaje hacia el sueño a cumplir.

Surely you have heard Oscar Wilde's phrase: "Be careful of what you wish for, it might come true", which is used in many inspirational stories and workshops. But in this case, it allows me to present our new Amaszonas campaign, designed to motivate us all to achieve our dreams. I am sure you remember the dreams you had as a child, the profession or job you wanted to have, the way you imagined helping your friends or family, the places you wanted to visit and all the other memories that would take far longer than this flight to remember. This month we have launched our campaign: Let us dream together - it will have different stages and the overall objective is to remind you of your dreams so that you do not forget to fulfill them, and can do what is necessary to achieve them. I want to tell you a story that I read once in a book: Every morning a child got up very early and went to the beach where he found many starfish that the tide had left on the beach. The child returned them to the sea before the sun could kill them. He did it as fast as he could. One day a fisherman who was also there early, approached the child and asked him why he did it, since there were so many starfish on that beach and in other parts of the world that he could not save them all and many of them would come back to the beach again and die with the next tide. The boy continued doing the same and after returning another starfish to the sea, he replied: "that star has a new chance to live." A summary of this story tells us that this child was very clear in how to achieve his dream; the importance is in believing and doing something. So what Oscar Wilde said is right, it is important not to forget what we seek to achieve, so that it becomes a reality. Today, Amaszonas invites you to recall your dreams and to fulfill them. You can start by reaching a small dream and then moving forward and taking steps toward achieving bigger dreams. You will see that it is great to be a dreamer, of real dreams, of high goals. Don’t stop asking yourself how to get to those destinations that you always wanted to visit! Happy journey to reach your dreams.

AL SON DEL CANDOMBE AT THE RHYTHM OF CANDOMBE El Candombe es es una manifestación cultural que mantiene vivas las tradiciones del rico mosaico de pueblos que conforman la identidad uruguaya. Al igual que la samba en Brasil, esta expresión artística sufrió prohibiciones en el siglo XIX por ser considerado inmoral, pero logró sobrevivir en los suburbios de Montevideo (Uruguay), de la mano de la colectividad africana y hoy es uno de los espectáculos más bellos en los días de Carnaval. The Candombe is a cultural manifestation that keeps alive the traditions of the rich mosaic of peoples that make up the Uruguayan identity. Like the samba in Brazil, this artistic expression suffered prohibitions in the Nineteenth Century because it was considered immoral. However, it managed to survive in the suburbs of Montevideo (Uruguay) and with the African community, and today it is one of the most beautiful spectacles in Carnival days.

En el aniversario 193 de vida independiente de Bolivia, resaltamos algunos de los escritores que más han influenciado en el mundo de las letras en el país. Obras que nos relatan cómo nos forjamos, y que nos permitirán entender de dónde venimos y hacia dónde vamos.

On the 193th anniversary of Bolivian independence, we highlight some of the writers that have most influenced the country through the written word. Works that tell us how we shape ourselves and works that allow us to understand where we come from and where we are going.

Bolivia cuenta con una rica y muy amplia tradición literaria que viene incluso desde antes de haberse constituido la república, pasando por las novelas, ensayos, poemas y otros estilos del mundo de las letras. Es por ello que en esta edición de Amaszonas hemos querido agasajar al país, eligiendo un escritor por departamento para mostrar su contribución a nuestra historia. En este sentido, nos apegamos al trabajo que viene realizando la Biblioteca del Bicentenario de Bolivia (BBB) que publicará los 200 libros fundamentales para la comprensión del pasado y presente del país hasta el año 2025. Esta entidad viene publicando las obras de destacados escritores y lo hace a un precio accesible para el público.

Bolivia has a rich and broad literary tradition that began even before the Republic was established, including novels, essays, poems and other styles of writing. That is why in this edition of Amaszonas we wanted to pay homage to the country, choosing a writer from each department and learning about his contribution to our history. For this, we will use the work that the Bicentennial Library of Bolivia (BBB) is doing, which will publish the 200 fundamental books for understanding the past and present of the country through 2025. This entity has been publishing the works of outstanding writers and it does so at a price accessible to the public.

RAMIRO CONDARCO - ORURO ZÁRATE, EL TEMIBLE WILLKA

Nacido en octubre de 1927, Ramiro Condarco fue un notable historiador, ensayista, poeta y abogado, además de docente de las universidades estatales de La Paz y Oruro. También fue miembro de la Academia Boliviana de la Lengua y la Academia Boliviana de Historia. Su obra “Zarate: El temible Willka, Historia de la rebelión indígena de 1899”, publicada el año 1966 se encuentra en la lista de la Biblioteca del Bicentenario, por su gran manejo de fuente, trabajo de campo y rigor. Ramiro falleció en 2009 pero su trabajo está a disposición para las personas interesadas en conocer este episodio de la denominada guerra federal en Bolivia. Born in October 1927, Ramiro Condarco was a remarkable historian, essayist, poet and lawyer, as well as a teacher at the public universities of La Paz and Oruro. He was also a member of the Bolivian Academy of Language and the Bolivian Academy of History. His work "Zarate: el temible Willka, History of the indigenous rebellion of 1899," published in 1966, is on the list of the Bicentennial Library for its great source management, fieldwork and rigor. Condarco died in 2009 but his work is available to those interested in learning about this episode during the so-called federal war in Bolivia.

EDUARDO TRIGO - TARIJA TARIJA EN LA INDEPENDENCIA DEL VIRREINATO DEL RÍO DE LA PLATA

Abogado, historiador, periodista, profesor universitario y diplomático, Eduardo Trigo O'connor nació en Tarija el 17 de octubre de 1936. Estudió en su ciudad natal, en La Paz, Londres y La Haya. Fue vicecanciller de la república y embajador en Argentina, entre otros cargos. Su libro es fundamental para entender el proceso de la nacionalidad y porqué Tarija dejó de ser una dependencia de Salta (Argentina) para cobijarse en Bolivia. Además provee información sobre los grandes guerrilleros de la independencia que están casi olvidados por la historiografía. Lawyer, historian, journalist, university professor and diplomat, Eduardo Trigo O'Connor was born in Tarija on October 17, 1936. He studied in his hometown, in La Paz, London and The Hague. He was Vice Chancellor of the Republic and Ambassador in Argentina, among other positions. His book is fundamental to understand the process of nationality as Tarija stopped being a dependency of Salta to take refuge within Bolivia. It also provides information about the great independence fighters who are almost forgotten by history.

RAÚL OTERO REICHE - SANTA CRUZ OBRA REUNIDA

Ensayista, poeta y periodista, Raúl Otero Reiche (1906 - 1976) nació en Santa Cruz de la Sierra y destacó en el amplio mundo de las letras con “Poemas de sangre y lejanía”, que escribió cuando se encontraba en la Guerra del Chaco, “Colección de paisajes”, “Fundación en la llanura”, “Adiós amable ciudad vieja”, entre otros. Su obra “América” fue incluida en la lista de las 100 obras literarias que transformaron el mundo en una encuesta que realizó la BBC. Recibió el Cóndor de los Andes, la mayor distinción boliviana. Dejó una vasta colección literaria que ahora se la puede encontrar en la Biblioteca del Bicentenario. Essayist, poet and journalist, Raúl Otero Reiche (1906-1976) was born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and excelled in the world of writing with " Poemas de sangre y lejanía," which he wrote when he was in the Chaco War, "Colección de paisaje,” “Fundación en la llanura,” and “Adiós amable ciudad vieja,” among others. His work "America" was included in the list of 100 literary works that transformed the world in a survey conducted by the BBC. He received the Condor of the Andes, the highest Bolivian distinction. Leaving a vast literary collection that can now be found in the Bicentennial Library.

GUNNAR MENDOZA - POTOSÍ OBRA REUNIDA

Nacido en Uncía en 1914, Gunnar Mendoza fue un historiógrafo, bibliógrafo y archivista por excelencia. Durante 50 años fue director del Archivo y Biblioteca Nacionales (1944 - 1984). Se especializó en archivología en el Instituto de Archivos de The American University y en el Archivo Nacional de Estados Unidos. Premio Nacional de Literatura (1956) y Premio Nacional de Cultura (1980). Lo fundamental de su labor se centra en la organización de archivos, en la edición y difusión de documentos históricos, principalmente del proceso de independencia. Por tal motivo toda su obra resumida se encuentra en la Biblioteca del Bicentenario. Born in Uncía in 1914, Gunnar Mendoza was a historian, bibliographer and archivist par excellence. For 50 years, he was director of the National Archive and Library (1944 - 1984). He specialized at the Archives Institute of The American University and the National Archives of the United States. He was awarded the National Prize of Literature (1956) and National Prize of Culture (1980). The fundamentals of his work are centered on the organization of archives, on the edition and dissemination of historical documents, mainly on the process of independence. For this reason, his collective work is in the Bicentennial Library.

ALCIDES ARGUEDAS - LA PAZ

RAZA DE BRONCE Y PUEBLO ENFERMO

Nacido en La Paz en 1879, Alcides Arguedas fue escritor, historiador y político. Su obra literaria se centra en temas relacionados con la identidad nacional, mestizaje e indígenismo. Cuenta con una amplia bibliografía, pero sus obras culmines son Raza de Bronce y Pueblo Enfermo. Ocupó distintos cargos públicos, sin dejar de escribir. Falleció en 1946. Born in La Paz in 1879, Alcides Arguedas was a writer, historian and politician. His literary work focuses on issues related to national, miscegenation and indigenous identity. He has an extensive bibliography, but his culminating works are Raza de Bronce and Pueblo Enfermo. He held different public positions, but never stopping writing. He died in 1946.

PEDRO SHIMOSE - BENI OBRA REUNIDA

Poeta, ensayista y narrador boliviano, Pedro Shimose nació en Riberalta en 1940, obtuvo el Premio Casa de las Américas por su poemario “Quiero escribir, pero me sale espuma”. También ha sido distinguido con el Premio Nacional de la Cultura de Bolivia. Así mismo ha escrito muchas canciones costumbristas. Parte de sus obras han sido traducidos al inglés, alemán, francés, ruso, árabe, entre otros. Poet, essayist and Bolivian narrator, Pedro Shimose was born in Riberalta in 1940, he won the award Premio Casa de las Américas for his collection of poems “Quiero escribir, pero me sale la espuma.” He has also been distinguished with the National Culture Award of Bolivia. He has also written many folk songs. Many of his works have been translated into English, German, French, Russian, and Arabic, among others.

CARLOS MONTENEGRO COCHABAMBA NACIONALISMO Y COLONIAJE

Carlos Montenegro nació en Cochabamba (19031953), fue político, periodista y escritor destacado. Como muchos intelectuales de la época participó en la Guerra del Chaco y posteriormente su obra culmine, “Nacionalismo y Coloniaje” (1943), definió el concepto ideológico de la revolución nacional de 1952. Carlos Montenegro was born in 1903 in Cochabamba and was a prominent politician, journalist and writer. Like many intellectuals he participated in the Chaco War and later his work culminated with “Nacionalismo y Coloniaje” (1943), which defined the ideological concept of the national revolution of 1952.

ROBERTO QUEREJAZU - SUCRE GUANO, SALITRE Y SANGRE

Uno de los mejores historiadores que ha tenido Bolivia, sin duda es Roberto Querejazu Calvo. Nacido en Sucre, también fue soldado, geógrafo y diplomático. Su obra Guano, Salitre y Sangre, aborda la guerra del pacífico. Pero la Biblioteca del Bicentenario también destaca otras obras suyas como son: Masamaclay, libro muy documentado de la Guerra del Chaco; Las Misiones Jesuíticas de Chiquitos; y Pintura Boliviana en el siglo XX. Without a doubt, one of the best historians that Bolivia has had is Roberto Querejazu Calvo. Born in Sucre, he was also a soldier, geographer and diplomat. His work Guano, Salitre y Sangre addresses the war of the Pacific. But the Bicentennial Library also highlights other works of his such as: Masamaclay, a well-documented book of the Chaco War; Las Misiones Jesuíticas de Chiquitos; and Pintura Boliviana en el siglo XX.

OSWALDO BRASILINO - PANDO OBRA REUNIDA

Nacido en 1921, Oswaldo Brasilino Zalles fue un poeta, historiador, siringuero, diputado y senador pandino, además de incursionar en el periodismo. Destaca su poesía dedicada a su región, toda vez que fue un hombre inquieto por el desarrollo de la amazonia boliviana. Born in 1921, Oswaldo Brasilino Zalles was a poet, historian, and Congressman and Senator from Pando, and he also ventured into journalism. A highlight of his work is a poem dedicated to his region, as he was a man restless for the development of the Bolivian Amazon.

Bahía Blanca se encuentra a 653 km de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, cuenta con 18 edificios que fueron declarados Monumento Histórico Nacional, solo en su centro histórico está el Monumento a Rivadavia, Fuente de los Ingleses, Monumento a la comunidad israelita, Palacio Municipal, Catedral Nuestra Señora de la Merced, Club Argentino, Biblioteca Rivadavia, Teatro Municipal y Monumento a Garibaldi. Hacia el sur, Bahía Blanca es también una de las vías de acceso a la Patagonia, uno de los puntos turísticos más visitado de Argentina, por sus paisajes espectaculares y ciudades ubicadas al pie de la Cordillera de los Andes. LA PLATA, INCREÍBLE INCREDIBLE LA PLATA

Esta ciudad universitaria por excelencia, es la capital de la provincia de Buenos Aires. Tiene muchas cosas que elevan su orgullo como su Catedral, una de las más espectaculares de América Latina y se dice que es la novena en importancia mundial. En La Plata está una de las obras más emblemáticas del arquitecto Le Corbusier la Casa Curutchet la única construida en América del Sur. La página Intriper.com menciona un listado de 50 cosas por las que La Plata es una de las ciudades más increíbles del mundo y menciona su Estadio, sus cervezas, entre muchos otros atractivos, que te invitan a conocerla.

This university-city par excellence is the capital of the province of Buenos Aires. It has many things to be proud of including the Cathedral, one of the most spectacular in Latin America and it is said to be the ninth most important in the world. In La Plata you will find one of the most emblematic works of the Swiss architect Le Corbusier; the Curutchet House is the only one built in South America. Ubicada a orillas del río Salado, en la Pampa Ondulada Alta de la provincia de Buenos Aires, la ciudad de Junín se ha ganado el reconocimiento como centro administrativo, comercial y turístico de la región. Ofrece a sus visitantes desde escenarios totalmente naturales, hasta sitios provistos de excelente infraestructura. En la ciudad está bien conservada la casa donde vivió Eva Duarte y la casona donde funcionaba el registro civil en el que se casó con Perón. El nuevo servicio que llegará en breve a Berlín (Alemania) y en los próximos meses a otras ciudades europeas, tiene el propósito de que los usuarios de urbes congestionadas tengan otras opciones de movilidad. Según su web, las bicicletas de Jump tienen la particularidad de ser eléctricas, ideales para las ciudades con colinas. Q’ESWACHAKA THE LAST INCA BRIDGE: Q’ESWANCHAKA A más de 3.700 ms.n.m. la reconstrucción del puente inca une a cuatro comunidades cada año en el sur del departamento de Cusco.

At more than 3,700 meters above sea level, the reconstruction of the Inca bridge unites four communities each year in the south of the department of Cusco.

En junio de cada año, cuatro comunidades indígenas se reúnen para renovar el Q’eswanchaka (puente de cuerda en quechua), trabajo que se extiende por cuatro días donde realizan danzas y ceremonias andinas, convirtiéndose toda la actividad en una tradición que se ha transmitido de generación en generación hasta nuestros días. Se trata de un vestigio de la infraestructura inca o como lo denominan el último puente colgante incaico que ha sobrevivido a través del tiempo, debido al trabajo de renovación. Está ubicado sobre un desfiladero del río Apurímac en el departamento del Cusco en Perú. Para recomponer el puente, cada comunario lleva una cuerda de q’oya, una especie de paja que abunda en los Andes, material que es trenzada por las mujeres, para formar gruesas cuerdas que harán resistente a la infraestructura. Pero antes de comenzar se ofrece a la Pachamama (Madre Tierra) hojas de coca, un cordero, fetos de llama y alimentos, todo bajo los estándares de la cosmovisión andina.

In June of each year, four indigenous communities meet to renew the Q’eswanchaka (rope bridge in Quechua). En las aguas de la cuenca amazónica vive el bufeo o delfín de agua dulce, una curiosa especie de mamífero cetáceo odontoceto de color rosado, aunque también existen el de color gris. En Bolivia se encuentra una especie única, el Inia boliviensis, surca los ríos en el noreste del país. Es así que en Trinidad (Beni) nace la ruta del bufeo como atractivo turístico que busca que tomemos conciencia sobre la riqueza natural y generar recursos económicos para la región. El paseo comienza a 15 minutos del centro de Trinidad, en Puerto Ballivián, donde una escultura con dos bufeos nos recibe y avisa que estamos en su territorio. La operadora de turismo Ecoterra a cargo de Roger Rodas se encargará de llevarnos al encuentro de estos curiosos animales, además de explicarnos la riqueza de la fauna y flora que se ve en trayecto. La primera parada es en la Loma Suárez, un centro administrativo de los hermanos Suárez, que lograron montar su imperio en el auge de la goma (siglo XIX y XX). Se trata de una loma artificial que junto a todo el terreno fue adquirido por Rómulo Suárez y donde se construyó una casona de estilo neoclásico con palmeras traídas desde la India. Esta propiedad pertenece actualmente a la Armada Boliviana. El recorrido por el lugar es parte del tour. Continuamos el recorrido en busca del bufeo. En nuestra segunda parada, en la comunidad San Carlos, podemos tocar el Mapajo, un árbol gigante que se divisa a larga distancia. Cuando nos embarcamos para ir a nuestra última parada en la unión entre los ríos Ibare y Mamoré, nos encontramos con los primeros bufeos, nadan en grupo y se dejan ver cuando salen a la superficie para respirar, también lanzan chorros de agua por su orificio dorsal, un espectáculo natural.

“El Hombre de Marree” es el geoglifo más grande del mundo y también uno de los más misteriosos, toda vez que no se conoce nada sobre su origen. Ubicado en el pueblo de M arree al sur de Australia, las líneas de la figura corren a través de la tierra estéril, tallada con 30 centímetros de profundidad y más de 35 metros de ancho, extendiéndose sobre más de 4 kilómetros, formando un aborigen empuñando un palo o boomerang. Desde que apareció por primera vez en 1998 nadie se ha hecho responsable de su creación, dando lugar a innumerables teorías. Es por ello, que el empresario australiano, Dick Smith, quiere poner fin al misterio ofreciendo $us 3.712 para obtener información sobre su origen. En los últimos dos años, el empresario y su equipo ha estudiado las imágenes y videos, además de revisar las pocas pruebas disponibles, sin resultados concluyentes. En ese sentido considera que un grupo de personas fue el responsable del geoglifo y espera que la recompensa ayude a obtener pruebas de ello. A pesar de todo el Hombre de Marree ya se ha convertido en un símbolo local. 44

BUENAS NOTICIAS / Good news El uso del plástico se ha convertido en un serio problema para el medio ambiente, hasta el punto que muchos países han comenzado a regular el uso de bolsas de plásticas y a imponer leyes e impuestos que ayuden a reducir su consumo, pero Francia ha dado un paso más y será el primero del mundo que prohíba el uso de vasos, platos y cubiertos plásticos, pero también bastoncillos para los oídos. La marca país al ser una política de estado puede tener tres o más dimensiones: turismo, exportaciones, inversión extranjera directa, seguridad jurídica, etc. El término nace de la necesidad de los sectores empresariales y los gobiernos por generar una identidad propia frente a los mercados internacionales. El vino es la bebida favorita de muchos y ahora no solamente se la puede encontrar en una botella, sino que también es el ingrediente de otra delicia como es el helado, esta fusión de helado de vino ya es una sensación en algunos países que la han incorporado regularmente en su carta. ¿Pero que tan difícil es preparar tu propio helado de vino?, te damos las pautas para encarar esta rica preparación. Los ingredientes que se necesitan son: una botella de vino tinto, 150 gramos de azúcar, cuatro yemas de huevo, 300 ml de nata, 250 ml de leche entera y una rama de canela. Para la preparación se debe verter todo el contenido de la botella en una olla junto a la rama de canela y poner a hervir, después de 45 minutos colocar el contenido al congelador. Posteriormente en otra olla poner la leche y la nata a medio fuego, mientras que se bate las yemas con el azúcar hasta que tenga una mezcla uniforme que después se incorpora a la leche. Luego se deja enfriar y se mezcla con la preparación del vino. Todo esto se coloca en una máquina de helados o en un molde y se guarda en el congelador a temperatura baja. Al igual que otras recetas se puede incorporar otros insumos, como frutas o se puede utilizar vino tinto o blanco. También existen muchas otras preparaciones, lo ideal es animarse a experimentar con esta rica bebida.

La palabra tamal proviene de la lengua náhuatl tamalli que significa envuelto, esta es la versión más extendida. Por eso comúnmente se dice que se originó en Mesoamérica entre los años 8000 y 5000 a. C., para después extenderse a Centroamérica y Sudamérica. Con el tiempo el tamal fue adaptándose a las distintas regiones, es así que en Argentina se realiza a base de harina de maíz y zapallo anco, rellena con carne vacuna y pollo, además uva, huevos y aceitunas. En el occidente de Bolivia se prepara con distintos tipos de relleno, dependiendo de la región, además de existir dos variedades al horno y a la olla, en ambos casos se envuelve en la chala del maíz. En definitiva existen muchas variedades de tamal, pero sin duda este alimento de maíz ya es un patrimonio de la gastronomía americana.

THE MILLENARY EGGPLANT Existen innumerables documentos que dan fe que la berenjena se cultivaba desde tiempos inmemoriables. Los datos más antiguos que se conocen la establecen en el estado de Assam (al noreste de la India), Birmania y en China. Llevada por comerciantes árabes pasó al norte de África y más tarde, en la Edad Media, entró a Europa por la España musulmana, desde donde se extendió su cultivo por los países cálidos del Mediterráneo y desde allí al resto del mundo. Esta hortaliza milenaria tiene un gran contenido en agua, de ahí que su aporte de calorías sea mínimo (unas 35 calorías por cada 100 gramos). No contiene grasas y es rica en minerales como el potasio, que equilibra los líquidos en el organismo y nos ayuda a no acumularlos. También tiene calcio, esencial para los huesos, esto es especialmente relevante para las personas veganas y deportistas veganos. Nos aporta hierro, imprescindible en la sangre y en los músculos, y azufre, que ayuda a regular el sistema nervioso, la función digestiva y los niveles de glucosa. GRAPPAMIEL CHARRÚA URUGUAYAN GRAPPAMIEL

La grappa es una bebida alcohólica típica de Italia que se obtiene de la fermentación y destilación de las semillas, tallos y cascaras de uva. Esta bebida fue llevada por los europeos a Uruguay y Argentina en el siglo XIX y con el tiempo fue adquiriendo matices locales, naciendo la grappamiel en el país charrúa. La grappamiel es un licor digestivo que se mezcla con miel de abeja, llegando a tener aproximadamente 25% de alcohol. Usualmente se consume un shot durante los días frescos de otoño o durante las bajas temperaturas de invierno para mantener el cuerpo caliente. Mientras que en el verano se toma en un vaso largo con muchos cubos de hielo. En los últimos años se ha dado la costumbre de mezclar la bebida con otros sabores como el chocolate, el café, limón, menta, maní, frutilla, naranja, vainilla, entre otros.

DESAYUNO BOLIVIANO BOLIVIAN BREAKFAST

ENCUENTRO NACIONAL DE ÁREAS PROTEGIDAS

EL Servicio Nacional de Áreas Protegidas SERNAP, dependiente del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente y Agua del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia llevó a cabo el “Encuentro Nacional de Áreas Protegidas” con el objeto de presentar resultados logrados con la implementación de apoyo y asistencia técnica a iniciativas productivas a implementarse dentro de las Áreas Protegidas. El Director Ejecutivo del SERNAP Abel Mamani Marca, hizo la presentación oficial de la “Campaña de Sensibilización para la Conservación desde las Áreas Protegidas”, como actor fundamental a cargo de guardaparques encargado de mostrar las potencialidades de las diferentes áreas protegidas de carácter nacional, el objeto de

creación y conservación para contribuir en la conservación de la biodiversidad y los recursos naturales de nuestro país, por consiguiente la ciudadanía, instituciones públicas y privadas como corresponsables en la conservación de nuestras áreas protegidas. El Encuentro tuvo lugar, en el Parque Nacional Cotapata ubicado en el Departamento de La Paz-Bolivia, con la participación de representantes de las 22 áreas protegidas, Dirección Nacional, Directores de las Áreas Protegidas, Jefes de protección, guardaparques, Comité de Gestión (representación local de habitantes al interior de la Áreas protegidas) representantes de la Cooperación Internacional y autoridades del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente y Agua.

PREMIO MAYA A LA MEJOR AEROLÍNEA NACIONAL Durante la entrega de los premios Maya, se hizo público el reconocimiento que esta entidad ofrece a diversas instituciones, empresas y personalidades de Bolivia. Amaszonas fue elegida como la mejor aerolínea nacional. La ceremonia de entrega se realizó en los predios de la Fexpo en Santa Cruz de la Sierra y contó con la presencia de cerca de mil personas. “Amaszonas es la aerolínea nacional de mayor emprendimiento empresarial, comercial y de responsabilidad social” fue mencionado durante el anuncio de entrega. Este es el segundo año consecutivo que Amaszonas obtiene el reconocimiento como mejor aerolínea nacional y ratifica los resultados de las estrategias desarrolladas desde que se convirtió en aerolínea de conectividad regional. Hace dos años y medio innovó con la creación del “puente aéreo” boliviano, inicialmente con vuelos entre Santa Cruz y La Paz. Hace un año fue la primera en presentar un programa de millaje para el viajero frecuente en el mercado boliviano con “Jet Class Miles” y hace algunos días presentó el primer programa de compra de pasajes en cuotas “Amascuotas”. Además de Amaszonas, Copa Airlines recibió la distinción como mejor aerolínea internacional.

AMASZONAS URUGUAY INCREMENTA VUELOS ENTRE MONTEVIDEO Y ASUNCIÓN Con el objetivo de fortalecer el “hub” en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Carrasco y satisfacer la demanda generada, Amaszonas Uruguay decidió aumentar a dos vuelos diarios la conexión Montevideo – Asunción de lunes a domingo. Los vuelos de Montevideo a Asunción partirán todos los días a las 7:30 y a las 17:40, mientras que desde Asunción a Montevideo lo harán a las 11.10 y a las 20:20.
