In the 20 years since 9/11, dozens of new developments have popped up in Lower Manhattan, allowing downtown to transition from the city’s financial center to a thriving commercial, culinary and residential destination. Looking beyond the new World Trade Center towers, the Alliance for Downtown New York compiled a "20 in 20" spotlight on 20 significant developments that have defined the changes seen in the post-9/11 era.
