In memory of Kennie

Dowle

Our former KLASS EP Head of Drama, Mr Kennie Dowle was a remarkable teacher and person. He sadly passed away in early January 2021.

Europe Kennie joined Alice% Smith in September 2003 and

left in 2016. He was already a long standing, well regarded member of staff at the Secondary Campus. For those of you who did know Kennie, who taught for 13 years at the Secondary Campus between 2003 and 2016, you will have fond memories of a creative and vibrant teacher, director, friend and colleague who has influenced and affected the future pathways of so many of our students.

school, not least through the productions he directed and crafted for our community, the last of which was Medea in 2016. His dedication and passion for drama and towards his students and colleagues can be seen through all the lovely tributes written for him here. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family.
