The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Gold Level is the highest level; along with further development of their personal and leadership skills. Gold Level students are required to undertake a four-day adventurous journey and a five-day residential project. Please be aware that the cost for Year 12 will be higher this year due to two adventurous Journey’s in one year.

STEM Society
KLASS STEM society is a student-led EPA where passionate STEM students engage in interactive sessions exploring vast scientific areas that extend beyond the school curriculum such as engineering, astrophysics, neuroscience and biochemistry. In this EPA, students will engage in various experiments, partake in scientific discussions and develop their academic writing skills whilst equipping students with a deeper understanding of science and the world around us. This EPA would be particularly helpful for students aiming to pursue a career in science, but everyone is welcome!

Golf Academy
Offers a holistic, year-round golf development programme designed to support players of all abilities. The model combines team training, 1:2 ratio coaching sessions, and oncourse practice, ensuring students benefit from both technical instruction and realgame experience.
The programme also integrates mental preparation, golf-specific fitness, and course management, equipping students with the skills and mindset required to perform under pressure. A full season of competitive opportunities is built into the calendar, providing regular chances for students to test their progress in local and international events.

Golf Beginner
An opportunity for students to learn the fundementals of golf. Using the Alice Smith golf simulators and short game areas on campus to build the basics. These lessons will be taught at a 1:4 coach to student ratio and will TAKE place on a rotation during lunchtime, period 5 and period 6 lessons.
