Unesco como Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Miles de ibicencos y visitantes se ven envueltos en la atmósfera de un gran mercado de la Edad Media. Malabaristas, cetreros, juglares y mercaderes repueblan la ciudadela. Los festivales de jazz en el baluarte de Santa Llùcia, el Festival Internacional de Piano de Sant Carles, el Festival Internacional de Magia y Clowns de Sant Josep, el International Film Festival de Ibiza y la interesante programación teatral de Can Ventosa, en el centro de la capital, son algunos de los eventos culturales que hay que apuntar en la agenda. Las Fiestas de la Tierra, entre el 5 y el 8 de agosto, son muy populares en la ciudad, especialmente el castillo de fuegos artificiales que se lanza desde la bahía de Ibiza. El Palacio de Congresos de Santa Eulària acoge eventos culturales y convenciones durante todo el año, con un auditorio para 400 personas. El Consell Insular, además, ha iniciado las obras de remodelación de la antigua Comandancia Militar, que se convertirá en un centro de convenciones con capacidad para 600 personas y que será la sede de la Fundación Etudis x Eivissa.
