ECM Technologies Area Sales Manager Italy (Sponsor of 27° National Conference on Heat Treatments)

- What encouraged your company to become exhibitor and sponsor of 27th Heat Treatments National Conference?

Italy is an important market for our company, so exhibiting and sponsoring the Heat Treatment National Conference organized by the AIM seemed obvious to us. This event allows us to meet with customers, new companies and to showcase our solutions while getting to know the latest trends & research done on heat treatment. It is important for us all and we do support these events.

- What are you expecting from this event?

As aforementioned, this congress is a great source of knowledge. It provides us with technical and market knowledge, while giving us the opportunity to meet with our customers and other AIM members. It is also a great networking event that we are looking forward to attend. Also, it is a great opportunity to present our vacuum heat treatment systems to the Italian market, which is as said previously, an important one for ECM Technologies. Also, Italy is the second largest European manufacturing economy and has the largest European network of SMEs. ECM Technologies has the capacity to offer similar solutions to these SMEs than to larger corporations but adapted to their needs. This is something we definitely want to put forward.

- Did the pandemic situation leave any positive consequences in heat treatments and coatings field? The pandemic situation definitely had consequences in heat treatments and coatings fields. However demand in new products is still high. Europe helped with incentives for investments in clean / low carbon and 4.0 technologies, which was an opportunity for us. Also, these grants helped boosting investments towards e-mobility, which will accelerate the transition from atmospheric gas heated furnaces to electric vacuum heat treatment installations that are our core business.
