AGGIE GREEKS

CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE WITH THE 2025 AGGIE GREEK AWARDS

The Aggie Greek Awards recently honored the remarkable achievements and contributions of Texas A&M University's fraternity and sorority community. This annual event showcased the exceptional leadership, service, and academic excellence demonstrated by the chapters and individual members throughout the year.

From celebrating chapters for their philanthropic efforts to recognizing advisors for their guidance and dedication, the Aggie Greek Awards highlighted the positive influence Aggie Greeks have on campus

By promoting a culture of excellence and community involvement, these awards reinforced the Greek community’s commitment to upholding Texas A&M's core values through leadership, scholarship, and service

The Merita S ‘86 and Stephen G ’88 Parker Fraternity Member of the Year and Sorority Member of the Year awards honor two current students who have made a significant impact on their particular chapters, the Greek community, and Texas A&M University as a whole This year, we had the pleasure of presenting these awards to Rogelio Sanchez-Hernandez ‘26 (Sigma Lambda Beta Fraternity, Inc.) and Jianna Cunningham ‘25 (Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.). These individuals are identified as true role models to their fellow student leaders, have strong academic records, and act on their pledge to live their lives similar to their fraternal values.

The Fraternity and Sorority Life team would like to thank our students, advisors, and community partners that have made this past year a success as we ring in our 40th Anniversary here at Texas A&M.

SEC FOOD FIGHT 2025

Fraternity and Sorority Life is partnering with The 12th Can for the annual SEC Food Fight! Since 2023, the Aggie Greek community has supported The 12th Can in a friendly competition among SEC schools to collect the most item donations in an effort to combat food insecurity on campus Last year, Texas A&M University placed 3rd out of 13 schools thanks to this partnership!

Each chapter has been assigned specific items to donate and can sign up for a designated drop-off time at the 12th Can Pantry located at 330 Agronomy Road here in College Station

Help us #BTHOFoodInsecurity by encouraging your chapter’s leadership to participate in this community-wide initiative. For any questions or concerns, please contact The 12th Can’s Donations Director at 12thcan donation@gmail com
