The Collegiate Panhellenic Council (CPC) hosted their primary recruitment during August 17-24, The week was filled with opportunities for potential new members to interact with the CPC community at-large through events like yoga, boot bow tying stations, and a barbeque with live music This year we had a record breaking 1,535 women sign up for primary recruitment, with 1,211 women receiving a bid on bid day.
This year marks an exciting new chapter for our CPC primary recruitment process with the implementation of logistical Rho Gammas These individuals assist in handling the operational aspect of recruitment to ensure everything runs smoothly. This change allows our traditional Rho Gammas to focus solely on the experience of potential new members. This change also introduced a new position, the Director of Recruitment Counselors, who ensure all Rho Gammas have a good experience in their role
On August 9, we hosted our annual advisor conference. This was the first year this conference was held in person since Covid-19. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the advisors who were able to attend.
The attendees heard keynote presentations from Debbie Robertson ‘76, long-time advisor to Zeta Tau Alpha, and Joni Taylor, head coach for women’s basketball, who discussed what it means to be an impactful advisor Additionally, advisors had the opportunity to join a breakout session with topics ranging from health & safety to a crash course on Get Involved The conference ended with an opportunity to have some council specific discussions

On August 27, MGC and NPHC hosted their annual Meet The Greeks event This is an event they host every semester and is catered toward our MGC and NPHC communities Organizations from both councils were there to showcase themselves to potential new members who are
We were very excited to have members from our newest MGC expansion group, Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity, Inc., participate in Meet the Greeks. This was the perfect opportunity to introduce the fraternity to the Aggie community!
NPHC WEEK
NPHC Week took place September 2-7 and was a week was filled with friendship and community service. NPHC members volunteered at Bryan Head Start where they read to and entertained their young scholars. They also donated roughly 90 pounds of food items to the Brazos Church Pantry.

New Graduate Assistant, Lance Bumgardner
We are thrilled to announce that Lance Bumgardner has joined the team as our new Graduate Assistant! Lance completed his B.S. in Economics in 2024 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. This semester, he started the Master of Public Service and Administration program in the Bush School of Government and Public Service. He is proud of his Greek roots as a brother of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.

UPDATES TO POLICIES
There are 2 policy updates that go into effect this semester to be aware of:
1.Stop Campus Hazing Act: Passed into federal law on Dec 11. This law requires universities to draft a statement of current policy, a hazing transparency report, and a prevention program. The good news is that TAMU already fulfills these requirements!
2 The second update to be aware of is an update from the University Youth Programs office. Please view the updates here. Organization presidents are required to attend a youth programs training.
