AGGIE GREEKS PRESENT RIGHT ROUND A
On Friday, April 11, 2025, Reed Arena was overtaken by energy and celebration as Fraternity & Sorority Life at Texas A&M University marked the 40th anniversary of Greek Life with an unforgettable concert open to the entire campus and local area. Thousands of students, former students, faculty, staff, and friends gathered to honor four decades o fraternity and sorority life in Aggieland

This milestone celebration brought together all four councils that make up the Aggie Greek community, honoring the wishes of community members to create an event that would successfully encapsulate the spirit of community. The resulting concert, Right Round Aggieland with Flo Rida featuring little image, was a huge success and got the Aggie Greek community the student body Bryan College Station, fun celebration.



The night’s festivities began with a lively performance by little image, an alternative pop band based out o Dallas, Texas They were followed by an electrifying headlining set from international music star Flo Rida, who had the crowd dancing and singing along to his many chart-topping hits and party classics.
The success of the event was made possible by the tireless efforts of student volunteers who spent countless hours planning, organizing, and executing this one-of-a-kind concert Their commitment and teamwork ensured the evening was a true reflection of the spirit and pride of Texas A&M's Greek community.
More than just a concert, the 40th Anniversary celebration was a tribute to the legacy, growth, and impact of fraternity and sorority life at Texas A&M This night served as a powerful reminder of the Aggie Greek community’s bright future ahead
MGC SHOWCASE 2025
On April 14, the annual MGC Showcase allowed all 18 chapters within the council to present their unique histories and values to the Texas A&M community through a variety of artistic performances Alongside elements of each organization’s culture (e g , strolls and steps), this year’s rendition celebrated the council’s 25 anniversary with a Y2K theme. This required each participating chapter to blend both traditional and modern styles.

This year’s winners were Rho Delta Chi Sorority, Inc in first place In second place was Gamma Beta Fraternity, Inc , and Sigma Phi Omega Sorority, Inc coming in third place.

On April 16, Fraternity & Sorority Life hosted Kyle Easley '01, the Director of Campus Programs for The Association of Former Students, for our monthly Advisor Development Series In his role, Kyle leads a team to engage current students and promote The iation's impact on Texas s community, while also eeing the Aggie Ring program

ADVISOR SPOTLIGHT: KIRK LASTRAPES

Kirk Lastrapes serves as an Assistant Manager for Transportation Services at Texas A&M University Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Kinesiology with a focus in Sports Physiology In his free time, he enjoys working out, swimming, jogging with his Australian shepherd (Gunner), photography, videography, and being a personal trainer.
He is a brother of Sigma Nu Fraternity, and is an a advisor for his home chapter (Eta Nu). He also serves as an advisor for the Texas A&M chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity Join us in showing our appreciation to Kirk for all of his hard work!
g the April workshop, Kyle duced The Association of er Students and highlighted several of its most significant contributions to the Texas A&M community, with special emphasis on the tradition of the Aggie Ring Following the overview, the discussion shifted to practical tips for current students. Kyle also shared insights on how advisors can support the newest class of former students, helping them navigate the transition from collegiate life to active membership within the growing Aggie Network

Multicultural Greek Council (MGC)
The Spring 2025 edition of MGC Week was packed with events focusing on professional development, building community, and cultural appreciation Throughout the week, students connected at events like the Resume Workshop, Unite the Greeks mixer, and PAWS for a Cause with TAMU PAWS They also enjoyed good food during the Taste of Asia event and the Panda Express profit share The week culminated with the highly anticipated MGC Showcase, to cap-off the week with the performances from the chapters that call Texas A&M home
Interfraternity Council (IFC)
The 2025 IFC Olympics brought out the best of brotherhood with a full slate of competition, camaraderie, and philanthropy across a week of events Forty percent of the points chapters earned were based on donations to the 12th Can’s SEC Food Fight competition Trivia Night and a Hot Dog Eating Contest each contributed 20% The remaining 20% came from the Olympic Game night, which featured athletic events like tug-of-war, cornhole, and the 40-yard dash After a hard-fought competition, Delta Tau Delta was crowned the winner, followed by Kappa Sigma and Pi Kappa Alpha in 3rd


Collegiate Panhellenic Council (CPC)
On April 15, CPC hosted their annual Progressing Panhellenic program, which is an event that celebrates the community’s accomplishments and fosters meaningful conversations. The evening honored CPC’s Sorority Women of the Year, recognized the community’s philanthropic efforts, and celebrated the chapters with the most Panhellenic (Pan) Points over the last semester. This year’s event also featured a panel discussion of sorority women from NPHC, MGC, and CPC organizations to discuss misconceptions, cross-council unity, and opportunities for future collaboration.
National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)
This past month, the NPHC community came together to celebrate an exciting season of growth with several Spring 2024 New Member Presentations. Four of our organizations proudly welcomed a total of 27 new members, each bringing fresh energy and passion to the community A highlight of the season was the return of the Pi Omicron chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc - an important milestone for both the chapter and the NPHC as a whole We are incredibly proud of all our new members and look forward to the impact they will make within our community and beyond
