AGGIE GREEKS
SUPPORTING STUDENT LEADERSHIP: OVERNIGHT RETREAT AND TRAINING DAY
Our Aggie Greek leadership was excited to kick off the Spring semester! Just before the start of classes, chapter and council presidents attended a three-day leadership retreat program at Summer Mills Conference Center in Belton, Texas This was the first year that our retreat curriculum was designed in-house by Lo King Over 50 student leaders dedicated their weekend to unpacking and recommitting to the mission and identity of the community as we entered the new year
The retreat, officially titled “Developing Your Excellence Within,” aimed to empower student leaders by equipping them with key leadership skills and promoting a sense of unity within the community. Throughout the retreat, participants collaborated to create a cohesive brand built meaningful cross-council connections, and gained valuable insights from each others experiences
Embracing the power of connection, student leaders engaged meaningful discussions and interactive activities that explored different aspects of teamwork and critical thinking. From building puzzles to untangling human knots, the challenges of collaborating with peers and recognizing individual strengths proved to be a valuable experience With guidance from guest facilitators embodying a wide range of fraternal leadership expertise, participants were able to grow both personally and as a group.
Upon our return to campus, select chapter officers reconvened for our Spring 2025 Training Day to get a full breakdown of office expectations, resources, and university related polices that will support their positions
Together, these experiences provided leaders of the Aggie Greek community with the skills needed to deepen and expand the rich legacy of fraternity and sorority life at Texas A&M

Multicultural Greek Council (MGC)
On Thursday, January 16th, the Spring 2025 edition of Meet the Greeks took place in Rudder Exhibit Hall. The combined showcase of our MGC and NPHC chapters gave potential new members of our culturally-based fraternal organizations an opportunity to explore the Aggie Greek community This event was a huge success, with over 300 people checking in and participating in this celebration of brotherhood and sisterhood.
Interfraternity Council (IFC)
During the third week of January, the IFC had a successful Spring 2025 recruitment cycle. Each chapter held a series of events that promoted brotherhood and highlighted their organization’s personality The Aggie Greek community is excited to welcome the 149 men who accepted bids from our 19 IFC chapters here at Texas A&M, with more to come through the COB process

Collegiate Panhellenic Council (CPC)
Continuous open bidding (COB) is underway! In order to promote equitable chapter growth, this semester’s COB cycle included a moratorium on recruitment activities from January 20th until February 3rd for all chapters, with the exception of Alpha Epsilon Phi and Alpha Omicron Pi. As campus Total reset to 325, our Panhellenic chapters are excited to welcome new members into their vibrant community
National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)
NPHC weekend took place during the fourth week of January, featuring a series of fun and impactful events to celebrate the chapters that call Texas A&M home The festivities opened up with a trivia challenge on Thursday, followed up with a “BYOG” (bring your own game) Night on Friday. As a tribute to NPHC’s dedication to service, the weekend was capped off with Saturday’s kick-off event for this semester’s book donation drive
