The annual Kinder Musik Festival (children’s music festival) will take place from February 29 to March 6 in the Kinderhaus Elsässer Platz in Wiesbaden. During a huge variety of workshops and concerts the focus is on the musical education of kids. This is an event where you get to taste a large variety of wine in small amounts. Purchase the wine pass, to taste up to 15 of the 75 wines that will be offered. You can also purchase the wine of your choice if you find one that suits your taste buds. The wines are from the finest winegrowers in the Bad Dürkheim area. Soft drinks are free for children. There will be food and snacks, as well as non-alcoholic beverages for those who are designated drivers. The pass for both days costs €20. Intermoto Sat, Mar 12 – Sun, Mar 13 Saarbrücken, Messegelände The annual Intermoto at the Messegelände Saarbrücken on March 12 and 13 will provide a mix of action, show and a classic exhibition of motorcycles. More than 130 exhibitors will present their newest bikes, quads and scooters. A variety of accessories, clothing and literature can be purchased as well. The exhibition will open its doors at 10 a.m. on both days. Starting point is the Bürgerhaus (community center) in Steinbach at 3 p.m. From there the 7.2 kilometer trail leads uphill finishing at the Ludwigsturm viewing tower at the summit of Donnersberg mountain.
